I have a suggestion for how to make the site better The site is only as good as the data that feeds into it. It can happen - sometimes there's a delay due to stadium conditions, or a previous program went late, or the data entry was just incorrect. Why does the Twitter account post times in Pacific time?īecause that's where I live, and everyone else posts times in Eastern time, so I wanted to make something for the West Coast folks.

I'm a software consultant and terrible right fullback. MLB schedules will tell you if the first pitch is at 7:05 or 7:10 or 7:15 they don't just say "7pm".Ī publicly available data source. NFL afternoon games will advertise a 1:05 or 1:25 kickoff, and then kick off at that time they don't say "1pm" and then expect the viewer to guess what time the game starts. No! If a Premier League game says it kicks off at noon, the game will kick off at noon. Does any other major sports league do this? without sitting through 20 minutes of previews or, alternatively, planning for a late kickoff and missing the first 20 minutes. This is disrespectful to the fans, who should be able to plan when they need to leave work, when halftime will be, etc. MLS games kick off anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes after the published time, and it's very difficult for fans to find out what time the game will actually kick off.
